The light sensor is used to automatically turn on the lights at dusk and off at dawn. This saves electricity.
It consists of a sensor, which is protected in a waterproof housing, and an adjustable switch which can be used to adjust the sensitivity from 5 - 50 LUX.
The sensor and the switch connect a 90cm cable.
The switch is suitable for mounting on a DIN rail in an electrical cabinet.
Installation:
first make sure that there is no voltage in the mains
determine the correct position of the sensor: it must be placed above the lamp to avoid poor performance
drill a 13m diameter hole in the surface for the sensor
gently insert the sensor head into the mounting hole
connect the lamp (consumer) and power supply (mains) to the switch - the wiring diagram is given in the enclosed instructions
after the installation, lower the el. current and check the operation of the sensor
